  • Northern California only
  • Individual counties (custom selection)

We provide reports on the following schedule:

  • Business transfer notifications - twice weekly
  • Liquor license applications - twice weekly
  • Business bankruptcies - weekly
  • For name-based monitoring, you'll receive immediate alerts when any of your monitored businesses show activity

All notifications include time-critical information such as filing dates, deadlines, and relevant contact information.

Yes, we provide comprehensive marketing lead lists including:

  • New business buyers
  • Business sellers
  • Liquor license applicants

These leads can be filtered by location, business type, and other parameters. They're ideal for insurance agencies, CPAs, and other service providers looking to connect with new business owners or businesses in transition.

Business Monitoring

California's Commercial Bulk Sale Code (Division 6 of the California Uniform Commercial Code) mandates that when a business is sold, creditors must be notified and have a 12-day window to submit claims to escrow. This notification is usually published in local newspapers, but can be difficult to track.

Our monitoring service identifies these filings and immediately alerts you, ensuring you have the maximum time to submit your claim before the transfer completes. This is crucial because after this window closes, it becomes much more difficult to collect outstanding debts or secure payments.

You can monitor any type of business entity in California, including:

  • Restaurants and food service businesses
  • Retail stores
  • Bars and liquor stores
  • Manufacturing facilities
  • Service providers
  • Any other business types

Our system is designed to track all business transfers regardless of industry or size. The Professional and Enterprise plans also provide additional monitoring for liquor license applications, bankruptcies, and business entity status changes.

Geographic monitoring provides all business transfer and liquor license notifications for specified California counties. You'll receive alerts for every business transaction within your selected geographic area.

Name-based monitoring allows you to monitor specific businesses by name, regardless of location, and receive alerts only for those businesses. This is ideal when you have a defined list of clients you want to track.

Many clients use a combination of both approaches for complete coverage.

Yes, with name-based monitoring you can add and remove business names as your clients change. Your quarterly fee will be adjusted based on your current number of monitored names at each billing cycle.

For geographic monitoring, you can also change your coverage area at the start of a new billing period.
